The Baron is a diety that has been knocked from his pedestal when the Reckoners sprung forth thier plan and terrorformed Earth. The Baron summoned the posse into his nightmare world soon after they had defeated Modeen the Destroyer. There he tested them with both terrible abominations and a card game for thier souls. In the end the posse went all in and were able to win victory. During thier exchange they found out that the Baron had become interested in thier posse because of the Harrowed/Cyborg with them and how his soul had a mark of power with it. The Baron decided to assist the posse and place them back into the world at a place of thier choosing. Later, after the battle to retake Kingman, the Baron visited Nigel and both warned him and encouraged him towards the dangers of Devil’s Tower, a place where he can be rid of his Manitou forever… Recently the Baron was revealed to be conversing with Johnny Prophet about the posse and an impending darkness looming over the horizon.
