Backstory

This golden feather fell from the sky one night while the Back of the World was sailing from Medinaat al-Salaam to Muluk. In Muluk, the Tower of the Moon debated what it was, and the majority decision was that the feather may belong to a Simurgh. Other possibilities could have been a roc, a griffin, a hipogriff, and a great falcon of the Yobanjin.
