“Oh goodness! Oh goodness!” I zoomed around my purple plastic Barbie doll house, frantically flapping. I had to get a grip! Sighing, I stopped. “It doesn’t fit!” My foot still hurt from kicking the dresser earlier, but I kicked it again anyway. “Ow ow ow ow…” It’s time to go talk to Verdia.
“… and so I was putting on my favorite purple dress, and it didn’t fit!! I ripped a seam and it was way to short!! What do I do Verdia?” I sighed yet again, and chugged my double chocolate caramel espresso.
Verdia bit her lip in thought as she scrubbed the thimble she was cleaning. “Have you noticed any new… uh… abilities lately?” she asked.

Investigation quickly reveals, no vampire involvement, but over the long month… two additional clues pan out to paint a gruesome picture. In addition to the blood of old people, the second clue involved what (at the time) seemed like “routine” diamond/jewelry thefts. The third clue came when an independent Ogre comes up to Conor, afraid for his life. A skinned, bullet-riddled body of another Ogre is found in a nearby park… the fourth… Conor gets Jaime involved.
Finally, the clues click into place… Ritual Magic.
