Mun-ja exalted in Tongosh of the Varang City States where he had previously worked as a clerk in the local tax office. Born into the Firestrider family, he was the youngest of seven sons and three daughters. As a child his family found him rather odd. Mun-ja took to the library more then following the destiny laid out in the stars. The astrology charts at the time of his birth denied him the powerful positions of his siblings. The tax office wasn’t the worst job he could of been given. as he could afford to live a comfortab lifestyle. He also had some sway with the guild in exchange for speeding along some of their documents or overlooking others. Despite this, for him it was far from truly fulfilling and he continued to long for more. After his wife and parents were killed during a raid by Monks of the Immaculate Order he began to loathe the realm and hate the corruption of the government in earnest. After reading a few history books hidden by the librarian speaking of the Lawgivers he dreamt of a return to the legendary wonders of yore, the dizzying displays of sorcery and the return of the Dragon-blooded to their rightful place as builders and servants instead of oppressors.
Upon exalting he found himself taken far away into the care of a few other Exalted. He soon discovers he is of the Twilight Caste and learns enough to survive, hopefully, from his mentor Sharakeesh. Mun-ja feels the strong connection to something in the distance. Something he once loved and fought beside in ages past that recently returned to Creation. Setting off to meet his destiny with Shek, a guild trader, he quickly meets another like him he also feels a strong pull towards. This is a Night Caste Solar by the name of Shrui ’khan. It soon becomes clear that they were part of the same circle in lives past. Mun-ja sets off Shrui ’khan to find what else is stalking him. He soon discovers another of his circle mates, one who only goes by the name of Bruce, a Dawn Caste during a standoff. A large bird comes down from the sky, which he gets a strong feeling from, the same as that which has mirrored him to this point. He discovers this be his Lunar mate, bonded for eternity. His group quickly forming he continues his quest to rebuild the greatness of the First Age and redeem the Exalted.
