So, Alex sent me this today. The long and the short of it is that Redbrick is not only moving from Earthdawn Classic to Earthdawn 3rd Edition (and they mention that 2nd ed is officially dead), but that they are discontinuing printing or distributing the EDC books after June. That mostly means that I need to sit down and spend the cash to get those books if I want them, and I do, but I also wanted to address this with everyone up front.

We are NOT converting to a new system this close to the end of the game. I’m personally quite happy with what we’re using now, and with the story winding down it would create huge headaches for everyone anyway. I’m going to get the EDC hardbacks because I want them and they look pretty on my shelf. If you guys want any of those books, you should act quickly, although you should also know they are not cheap. If you want pdfs, I can easily give you all of them, I think we’ve got everything purchased electronically.
