Jason Thumbrill heads mining operations for Benthic-Industrial-Group on Gath, a world in the Dominion/Imperium Neutral Zone. He has been at the site a number of years longer than a standard term, apparently the result of profoundly offending a higher corporate executive.

Jason appears to have no interest in the Gath, learning as little about their culture and society as he has been able to manage. He wants his mines open and operating, but has not taken many obvious steps to actually achieve this. Repeatedly, the question has risen: Is he well over his head in this posting, or is something else going on?

Our group of Travellers met Jason first during their inaugural adventure, “What’s Mined is Mine”.
