Tamed by Ayr during her initiation as a bansealgair for her tribe, Anundir is a sleek black great cat. Stealthy and strong, Anundir can stalk and silence his prey swiftly and with barely a sound. Despite his primal killer instincts, the large cat has also been known to play with butterflies and prefers lounging in the sun to battle.

Ayr and Anundir have a strong bond, as is natural for a bansealgair and her pet. As such, the huntress and her companion will defend each other to the death. The two have been together for many years and had recently ventured into the world outside their jungles when the Great Contagion struck.

Anundir often keeps watch over Ayr as she sits in her perch awaiting her quarry. It would be unwise for anyone, friend or foe, to attempt to surprise Ayr while she is on a hunt. While the huntress is able to touch Anundir, others will be met with a swift and firm bat with one of the cat’s massive paws should they attempt to do so without approval.

Ayr and Anundir can often be seen running together, but the brawny feline allows Ayr to ride on his back when needed. Ayr will not permit any type of tack to be placed on her friend, nor will Anundir approve of anyone but his huntress to use him for this purpose.
