“Thus the chosen and their teacher went with the Knight of the Merchant King to discover the secret of the lost Caravan. A great evil had touched it, and left it’s mark. But not all was as it seemed, as there was treachery afoot. The things that remained, no longer human, were not interested in talk, and thus the chosen received their first taste of the cruelty of the world supernal.
To be rid of them, was to solve the riddle of the caravan, or die trying. The madness was not the only thing that swept the remnants, but there was something much darker. Something touched by the evil directly. The first ripple of a stone dropped into the river of reality.
The kings men were drawing close, and now it was up to the Merchant King to insure the chosen’s safe passage.”
