"I know the dawn will come. I know it."
A rather normal looking human man with sandy brown hair and dusky brown eyes, Seth does not strike one as a man destined for greatness. Possessing of a medium build, his moderate frame belies a great strength within. Clad in the armor scavenged from the cold bodies of his slain order, he wields his scavenged weapons in pursuit of his lofty dreams.
Seth Lugft didn’t deserve the life he got. From his earliest memories he was obsessed with light. From the candles on the tables in his small home to the roaring fires in the hearth, he sought illumination in any way he could. It was life’s cruel little joke that he had to be born in a world without a sun. A hopeful and cheery child, his disposition always seemed at odds with the dark and decaying world around him. Lured by promises of adventure, he left as soon as he could to the nearby keep, the home of a fast dwindling order of knights. This order was the sole reason that Seth’s poor little burg had existed as long as it did. The knights that did dwell within the long neglected keep did their best to keep the forces of darkness at bay, and for a long time, they did their duty well.Seth joined this fraternity of warriors, and within a few short years, was an instrumental member. His courage and zeal earned him the name of Brazenheart, and the name stuck. He learned and trained, and for a time there was peace. But peace rarely lasts on Tenebris. Foul forces moved to snuff out the beacon of light that was Seth’s order. A horde of shadow and corruption quickly overran the keep, and sent the few who survived with their minds, souls, and bodies intact scrambling away for their lives. Seth was one of the few who escaped, and to his knowledge, the only one who survived the desperate day of fleeing and hiding from the things that lurked in the pitch black forests. When the moon rose, and faint light illuminated the shadowed forest, Seth returned to the charred ruins of the old keep, and recovered what he could. With the loss of his martial brothers fresh in his mind, Seth set out on the only path he felt was right. Drawing from the faintest of legends from the eldest of his order, he set out to find and join the fabled Sunseekers, to right the wrongs of this world. He vowed to avenge the slain. He vowed to bring back the sun.
