The Lion’s Roar (Vehicle)
The Lion’s Roar is a royal orichalcum warstrider, as tall as a five-story building and with the power of a First Age war machine. Unfortunately, it’s in poor shape after millennia of wear and tear, and Red Lion doesn’t have the funds to repair it. After the incident in Mishaka, Red Lion’s increased understanding of the control systems has allowed him to expand the interior living spaces as well as reactivate some of the warstrider’s higher functions.

Lion’s Roar Interior (Headquarters)
The interior of the Lion’s Roar is larger than its exterior—it’s bigger on the inside. The interior holds living quarters for nearly a dozen people (spartan but modestly comfortable), a small physical recreation area (a pool and a weightlifting machine), and a library of old books (mostly military history). The Lion’s Roar has an animating intelligence, a long-suffering spirit that manifests as a floating lion made of drifting rubies.

Complications
Enemy: Mask of Winters
The infamous deathlord known as the Mask of Winters destroyed Red Lion’s home village, and he intends to settle the score.
Limit Break: Bravery
Red Lion is brave almost to the point of foolishness. He believes he can face any foe, overcome any challenge, defeat any evil.
Foolhardy Contempt: In the throes of limit break, Red Lion will not retreat from a battle unless absolutely necessary, and even then will be the last person to leave the fight.
Motivation: Protector
Red Lion wants to bring peace and stability to the East by amassing a mighty army to defend its peoples. To that end, he goes out of his way to protect innocent bystanders from harm and to avoid causing trouble for the common people.
Poverty
Red Lion just cannot seem to hold onto money. Any spare coin that falls into his hands is spent on booze and women almost immediately.
Relationship: Venomous Spur
Red Lion has a casual sexual relationship with his Lunar mate, Venomous Spur, but his emotional commitment to her runs deeper than either of them are willing to admit. If she falls into danger, he won’t be far behind.

Power Loss: Essence Attrition
If a Solar Exalted rolls a natural 1 on a d20 roll and that roll is also a failure, he must pay a hero point or suffer power loss for the remainder of the current scene.
Reputation: Anathema
Red Lion is a reborn Solar, considered to be a demon of the ancient world by the followers of the Immaculate Faith.
Bio
A pugilist and rough-and-tumble fighter, Red Lion was from a small town in the east that just happened to be in the path of the army of the Mask of Winters. Red Lion led a small contingent of soldiers into the wilderness and found an ancient, overgrown manse. In the battle against a squad of nemissaries that followed them, smelling fresh meat, Red Lion exalted and claimed the manse’s last remaining object of power: a royal warstrider called The Lion’s Roar.
Philosophical outlook
p(oembed). Battlefield
Though he was able to save a few people from the Mask’s deadly rampage, his town was lost. Red Lion deposited the survivors in a nearby kingdom and began his quest to find a way to bring down the Mask of Winters once and for all. In his journeys, he met his Lunar mate, a somewhat eccentric No-Moon named Venomous Spur, who used him in her experiments to better understand the moonsilver tattoos. Red Lion now has a set of orichalcum tattoos, though neither he nor Ven know exactly what they do yet. Red Lion is a jovial, boisterous sort who loves women, wine, and song… which makes him unable to hold a silver for more than a day or two, and has seriously hampered his quest.
