He gave you a retinue to accompany you and help you find the Light of the Pancreator once more. Though some of the people he chose to go with you are… questionable… they all seem to have their uses. Perhaps he is giving you multiple paths to find your way back home, or perhaps saddling you with the flotsam and jetsam of his Estate.
He has given you an Avestite Spiritual Advisor, whom he claims has served him for the last few years, your mothers handmaiden as a Governess (as if you NEED a Governess!), a Gannock personal physician, and even a personal shopper. An al-Malik by the sounds of him. What use a personal shopper is going to be when you are seperated from your holdings is limited at best, but Father commands, so you need to obey, if you have any hope of returning home one day. At least you still have your concubine, a rare purchase from the Courtesan Guild, with a bewitching smile and many many talents, so the trip will not be completely without comforts.
Following the heroic sacrifice of the Vorox Commando Gur’Gari at the battle for Ruth Island on Madoc, it is quickly discovered that several important things are missing from the groups care. The immediate possession that leaps out (or more accurately, doesn’t) is Kat. The exotic pet/slave is missing. The thought filters through, after Gur’Gari’s earlier warning, that perhaps this wasn’t an attack on House Decados, or even a rebel group protecting their assets from inquisitive thieves, but an orchestrated operation to capture a unique, one of a kind creature who has a price, and from the looks of the battle field, a very HIGH price, on her head…
