Johanssen is the proxie who was running the team’s initial foray through the Pandora gate. He was killed, his recent backups destroyed, and his data lost, in a coordinated physical and hacking attack shortly after the team went through the gate.

The team recently discovered that the ship he was on was targeted by Mr and Ms Willaby, their would-be assassins.
