Rino is a kitsune, just that fact made him an outcast in the eyes of the people of Pace. the fact he was an orphan didn’t help his case, either. however, his parents weren’t dead. no, his father never knew he ever exsisted and his mother was just one of the nameless prostitutes in Pace’s underground. he’d been given to that orphanage because he wasn’t wanted. he’d gone through countless torture filled years at that hellish place before he’d finally had enough and ran away. not that it’d done much good. once on the street, he’d turned into a theif. he hadn’t wanted to, but he’d had no other choice. around age 10, his theivery had extended to actually stealing from other’s homes and taking valuables. his renown also escalated, though no one knew his face. he used a different one for each crime, effectively escaping capture. soon after, he began accepting hit jobs. at first he killed without really caring who the person was, but began doing background checks after realizing one of the people he’d killed hadn’t actually had a reason to die. Somewhere along the way, Rino had caught the attention of the spear of wotan. he really didn’t know why they wanted him to join, but wasn’t about to judge their logic. he accepted the invitation and was then introduced to his higher ups and underlings. he was displeased to find that his higher ups were all major pricks that enjoyed messing with him in their spare time. he noticed that the one in the rank just above him, Kazuhiko, seemed to be getting a bit nicer to him, but played it off as him finally getting used to his being there. that was, until he took rino to a tavern. that caught Rino off gaurd for two reasons, one, his higher up was being nice to him for once, and two, there were hookers and prostitutes everywhere. he’d been so disgusted by the place, he’d thrown a fit and left. though he was only 13 at the time, he’d reacted worse than should have been normal for his age, and had no idea why he’d acted that way. it was a normal sight for those in his line of business, so it confused him, but every time he thought about it, he felt sick. Kazuhiko knew why, though. Kazuhiko was convinced Rino was gay and planned to persue him, though he had no feelings for the boy. unfortunatly Rino fell into his trap and they were in a relationship for about a month or two, if you could even call it that, before Rino broke up with him. they hadn’t gotten physical at all, no kisses, no hugs, no nothing. the farthest they got was holding hands. Kazuhiko did try having sex with him a couple times, but it was obvious Kazuhiko mainly set things up, because Rino easily got the older boy off of him, they were only two years apart at the most. after that, Kazuhiko settled with making Rino’s life hell. again.
