Arneth’s past was never riddled with pain, humiliation, death, sadness, or revenge. She grew up normally. Well, as normal as one can with a single parent.
Her mother died of sickness when she was young and her father took over in caretaking. The only abnormality in her youth was that her father was an Ex-Paladin, and used his skills and wisdom to teach her how to protect herself as well as any other. He taught her the path of justice, protection and nobility of the god Bahamut and the responsibilities of bearing everything he taught her.
As she grew older, so did her father. He knew his time was soon to be upon him, so he told her to seek out the main church of Bahamut and get the proper rite preformed to become a Paladin worthy to carry on her father’s legacy. She was 15.
A year passed before her Father joined his beloved wife in heaven. Arneth buried him next to her and made the trek to the church alone. When she arrived, she was not immediately welcomed in. However she proved her worth in various duels and was trained further in the ways of the Paladin. She learned quickly and soon passed others her own age. It was a few years before she managed to gain the right to be accepted and her ritual preformed. At the age of 24, Arneth Velvatir, was one of very few fully pledged female Paladins.
As was custom, Arneth left her Paladin home. She had no big goal, no set destination. All she wanted was to travel and bring Bahamuts sense of justice, protection, and guidance to those who needed it.
And thus began her journey…
