Corbin Valenwood had a pretty good life; being a noble he got anything he wanted and living a shelled life. But he was always questioning what he was and if he was good enough to be human or elvish. He dreamed of growing up and becoming an adventurer like his father once was. His father Brent Valenwood would tell him stories of his great adventures and the tales of the legends adventures. One of Corbin’s favorite tales was the legend of Kakaga and how he survived two dragon encounters, one that he was able to push a dragon back with his brute strength. So he decided when he turned he became an adult he would follow his father’s footsteps becoming and adventurer. When he was 18 years old his father became ill. Corbin spent more time with his father after that and tended to his father. Brent knew he was dying but kept it to himself because he didn’t want Corbin, Coreen (Brent’s wife) and Tiffany (Brent’s daughter) to worry too much. So he kept away from them as long as he and made preparations at the church of Kord. A week after the preparations Brent passed on leaving the businesses to Coreen and the kids. Corbin took the death the hardest he felt he connected more to his father, than he ever would be to his mother. After a month of Brent being died Coreen thought it was time for Corbin to decide what he wanted to do with his life. Corbin knew exactly what he was going to do so he packed his things saying goodbye to his sister and mother and headed for the docks. He was heading to Marrek where his parents had met and where his father did his time in the military and also his adventuring. As he was waiting to board the ship that had arrived he looked at all who were going to Marrek. When someone caught his, it was a human that looked almost identical to his father when he was younger. Corbin walked over and introduced himself. Not knowing around them the two talked for a while tell boarding the ship. They continued to talk after boarding about their goals and for what purpose they were heading to Marrek. It turned out for the same reasons although a few things different hear and there because it wasn’t Warren’s father that made him want to become an adventurer it was because he wanted to make a name for himself for he had no father or mother he was an orphan that just wanted to be free. So the two decided to stick around one another for they had the same dreams and when they finally reached Marrek after a weeks voyage they went for the barracks to enlist in the military. The military was good to both Corbin and Warren teaching them strategies and tactics, training them to become fluent in many weapons and armor proficiency with most heavy and light armor. Also pushing them to become stronger and stronger tell they finally hit their limits. The years passed by and they still learned more and more becoming stronger and more knowledgeable. They saw some pretty interesting things while in Marrek, things they thought could not be real. The one thing they saw that stuck out the most had to be the magic chalk. There was a great and powerful wizard named Greenman and he had a magic store in town that the guy hadn’t been in yet so on there day off they went to the store to see what kind of items he had for sale. When in the store they saw some amazing things like wands that made you invisible and swords that could make an explosion that would fly out and hit your target. While all those things intrigued them the thing that caught their eyes the most was when they saw the wizard pull out a thing of chalk and he drew himself a food called a cheeseburger. They sat there in awe of what they just witnessed and as Greenman tied to explain it to them but he got confused and just ended up eating. They left the store more confused than ever and hoped to return again someday to by that chalk. After 5 years of service Corbin felt he was ready to leave the military and do his own thing but he wasn’t going alone because Warren decided he would go with him on his travels and try to live out his dream. So the 2 left to journey along the country seeing what they could find, whom they could help, and what items and riches they could find. The adventures they had in a short year were what they were looking for action packed and some riches to go along with it. Some places and towns they wondered into and were asked to help in a manner were more fearsome than others. They were always careful on there journeys thought at least Warren was more sometimes Corbin didn’t know his limits. The 2 decided it was time to take a break from adventuring for a while and head back to Marrek to rest and maybe finally get that chalk they wanted. They were on their way back to Marrek to see how the town was doing in their absence. To see if there was anything new in town and see if the military needed any help. As they were walking to Marrek halfway to the city a bear came out of nowhere and attacked Warren. Hitting him on the floor not even giving him a chance to defend himself, Corbin then attacked back trying to get the attention of the bear. But the bear didn’t seem to analog or his attack, it went to attack Warren but he had already gotten up from the knockdown and slashed at the bear. The bear then went on a missing streak and couldn’t hit either of them. But Corbin and Warren kept slashing at the bear putting some good size wounds on the bear. The bear became enraged and with one powerful swing from it paw, it knocked Warren unconscious, but the bear wasn’t satisfied with that he began to maul him to death. Seeing his friend dying made Corbin so angry that he swung his sword with an inhuman strength and cut the bears head clean off. Corbin then moved the bear and tried to patch up his friend the best he could but it was no use the bear had taken its toll and Warren died. Corbin mourned for a while still enraged at what the bear had done. Then he picked up his friend and carried his body to the church of Pelor, where they blessed his body and buried it. After his friend was buried Corbin headed to the tavern to get a strong drink in the memory of his friend Warren.
