The complete Chronological story of Daemon Stonehearth

Daemon Stonehearth, Son of Oskar Stonehearth, of the Clan Balitor. Daemon is a descendant of a family of renowned stone workers. Their work is mostly done within the Dwarven nations, however they have done work for the other races. The Stonehearth name is known by human, elven, and gnome stone workers.

Daemon is not an only child, he has an older brother Barand. Barand has just completed his stone work apprenticeship and is now working along side his father upholding the family craft and aspiring to do legendary work like his forefathers. Barand completed his apprenticeship at the early age of 64, which is many years earlier then most apprentices.

Most Dwarven children are brought up to continue on the family name and do their family’s craft for their lifetime. Very rarely does a child leave the craft of their family and do something else. However, there are few exceptions where leaving the family craft is accepted and actually considered an honor to the family. Those exceptions are becoming a cleric, priest, spiritual leader, or wizard. When the Children are discovered with the talent to be one of these illustrious people they are taken to learn about their abilities to become who they are meant to be.

Daemon was discovered at the age of 6 to have the power to tap into the divine arts. When his parents found that he had this power, they were proud and very honored to have him as a son. Daemon was taken to the Monastery of the Balitor clan and was taught the ways of healing, blessing, and protection. He was taught to honor freedom, life, and the god Pelor. He was taught many forms of education and most common languages.

At the age of 11, Daemon was a full Cleric apprentice. He studied and provided help to the community for the next decade. At the age of 21 he had reached the point when his apprenticeship was coming to an end and he would start on his last journey to become a full fledged cleric. He was tasked with helping the army by providing protection and healing to the soldiers. For the next 4 years he served the army and at the end of the war became a full Cleric.

He returned home to the call of Dwarven horns and trumpets along with many other Dwarven warriors and wizards. Daemon stayed at home for the next 12 years and provided spiritual guidance and healing to his clan and nation. Until one day when an old traveling Wizard stopped by the Church and was in need of assistance. Daemon gave him shelter and food. He spent much time with this Wizard and soon after the recovery of the Wizard he started to show signs of Arcane power.

Athelwin Prospero, the old traveling wizard, offered to teach Daemon the ways of the Arcane arts if he accompanied him on his travels. 8 years later, Daemon and Athelwin parted ways because of a message sent from his father telling Daemon that his Great Grandfather Dalin Stonehearth had died. He was summoned to attend the Funeral and give the Lament to Dalin. At the early age of 40, Daemon was once again back home and for the next 4 years was content.

However, once again he and his dwarven brothers-in-arms were called to battle to serve in the Army. And for the next 15 years he served faithfully and heroically. Saving countless lives of soldiers. Once the War had ended Daemon decided to search the world and experience its splendor. He wanted to help people.

Cyrus Tobias Keefe was a very skilled warrior that Daemon met in his time serving the army. Since the war was over, now was as good a time to explore the world and help others. Daemon asked Cyrus to accompany him on this journey.

Thus, Daemon Stonehearth, Son of Oskar Stonehearth, of the clan Balitor, comes to present day at the age of 59 years old in his prime.
