An illegal user of undifferentiated nanites has been reported by the local authorities on Augusta IV, a recently-established colony along the frontier of Tribune space. Given the Tribune’s particular interest in ensuring the colony’s commercial success, a special operations team has been dispatched to bring in this criminal as a show of force.

Shortly after touching down on Augusta, the team discovers that their criminal is a much larger threat than initially believed, and with the fate of the colony hanging in the balance, must piece together their target’s plan and stop it before time runs out. Discovery is an adventure suited for player characters halfway through Tier 1, and will take them to the beginning of Tier 2.
