The young child Claire was a devoted follower of Pelor even at 10. By the age of 12 she discovered that her parents had become monsters. She fled the manor and was killed by one of the mindless undead guards.

Now a ghost who has, for a thousand years, sought to undo her parents evil she waits for a group of heroes who can defeat them now that they have reawakened.

After the heroes defeated her father, the thing that pretends to be her mother escaped across the planes. Now Claire has spoken to Marcus and they have seen two possible ends for her. She must either sacrifice herself to purify the Von Slythe land or help rescue and cleanse the young child Jack Von Slythe. Pelor has been silent on if one or both of these is correct.

But for the first time in a thousand years Claire has a realistic hope that she can erase the evil of her family.
