All undead, except their leader Bellastran, the maidens can influence nightmares and cause fear. They feel betrayed because they believe they were left to Vecna after he won the battle. Their leader, Bellastran is nearly 10,000 years old and insane. She believes she should be the true elven goddess of dreams.

A mage of a level of power that is almost impossible to understand, she wants to unleash the great nightmares of the multiverse on creation. She believes this will make people stronger and give them hope in the darkest time.

She does not believe evil exists, only that it is a way that most fear because it is painful. She feels there is strength (nightmare, pain and want) opposed by weakness (Pleasure, happiness and joy). There should be no joy until the ultimate suffering…then the world can be reborn out of ashes.
