Maltron unsheathes Jes and plunges the dagger into the upper back of Kargan. With a heavy grunt, the slaver arches back, spitting blood. His red bloodied eyes and body strain, the veins in his neck bulge, until with a final heave he slumps and blood pools from his open mouth.
