The Rockseer Projection Labe is the culmination of arcane research, development, and engineering of illusionist spellcasting technique and spelljammer craft and technology. Utilizing an ‘Astrolabe’, specialized versions of the spell ‘Remote document’ and ‘document’, Rockseers were able to augment the device, incorporating spelljammer crafting technology to allow the Astrolabe to work as a ‘battery’ storing spells, and also project illusionary spells stored within. Using a helm of liason, a mage can cast illusions or ‘documents’ direcly into the Labe. These illusions can then recalled and projected within a space of 20’-40’ radius, depending on the charge of the magic battery on the Labe. Illusions projected cannot extend beyond their projected radius.
This is a highly secret device known only to the Rockseer king and some of his mage council. Currently only 2 are in existence.
