A small caravel ship owned by the Green Cargo Company.
The keel itself is made from ironbark. The ship weighs 60 tons, it is 23 yards long, 6.5 yards wide and 18.5 yards high. Apart from the keel, most of the wood for its construction is recycled & reclaimed Monterey Cypress, and the ship is covered in 158.5 gallons of tar.
Mirtha is a small two-masted caravel (or brig) ship owned by the Green Cargo Company. She was commissioned by the company nearly twenty five years ago when the green family went into business. Her and her crew earn their living by providing transportation to cargo, and the occasional passenger, from port to port running up and down the coast.
