And so one last time, and perhaps foolishly, even stupidly- we (me and five other fools) attempt to make our way through WOTCs core campaign modules H1-3, P1-3 and E1-3. In truth I have attempted this voyage on three other occasions-

Attempt #1- TPK in H1, thanks Irontooth- rolled up new PCs and got through to H2 before the whole thing died a death.

Attempt #2- Got through H1 a breeze- loved it. H2- pretty much likewise, H3- the Pyramid of Shadows and NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Game over.

Attempt #3- H1- good run through. H2- likewise. H3- Oh my this is going to kill us its so grindy dull, and… we get through it- somehow. P1- almost at the end when, campaign falls apart.

So, three attempts to get through all nine core modules and the furthest I’ve ever got is nearly to the end of the 4th module. This time…
