The Rise & Fall of the House of Black

Scions of the Rogue Trader Dynasty known as the House of Black have long pursued their destiny amongst the stars since the house was first granted it's mandate of trade many millenium ago; unsavoury rumours and whispers about hereditary practices dogged the house for many years although nothing was ever proven. Now the current scion of the House, Fortunus Black sets out for the Koronus expanse in an ancient ship salvaged from the wreck of a space-hulk, his course charted by the deformed navigator York Benetec. He is aided in this by the zealous ecclesiarch priest Cornelius, Enginseer Prime Pak, and the crew of their ship (christened the Lunatic Pandora).
