Skilled blacksmith apprenticed to Alec Hawksmoor
Youngest son of a smaller noble family, Theobald is the prize pupil of master blacksmith Sir Alec Hawksmoor. Arrogant and elitist, Theobald delighted in tormenting his master’s low-born apprentice, Fez. When Theobald wrongly blamed Fez for ruining a piece he was working on, Sir Alec decreed that Fez should submit to a whipping from Theobald. Fez refused, arguing that as his master, Sir Alec should be the one to administer punishment. A scuffle ensued, and Fez ultimately left Sir Alec’s house that day, determined to make his own way in the world.
