Backstory

Also known as the “Pearl of Wisdom” and “Salmon’s Pearl”, the Pearl of Life is a giant pearl 12 inches in diameter. Its surface is amazingly smooth and it is heavy for its size. It is rumored to have many powers including bringing back the dead, encouraging plentiful harvest, giving its bearer insight into the workings of the world, and being a key to open planer boundaries. It is not known which, if any, of these are true. Nor is its origin truly known save for a story that it once belonged to a powerful fish demi-god. The one thing that is certain is that it is powerful magic. So powerful even those without the ability to see magic have been known to see the magical auras surrounding it.
