Malachi was a traveling priest who fervently served the church. In fact, it was Malachi’s devotion which drew Augustus to him. Augustus desired that kind of devotion in his childer and he embraced the young priest. Malachi rejected Augustus and the curse which had been thrust upon him. Believing himself to be beyond his god’s grace he became consumed with a desire for revenge against his sire. Thus began the long battle between sire and childer which has raged for centuries.

Prior to the Night of Blood Malachi had begun to support the Anarchs of Indianapolis believing they could provide him with an opportunity to destroy his sire once and for all. He was not wrong but the cost was high to the Anarchs. Even as Augustus fell into ash it was revealed he and all the kindred of Indianapolis had been manipulated and a powerful demon was being unleashed on the world.

Malachi was last seen leaving with Jonas-Judas to confront this evil. Soon after the spiritual lattice of energy which covered the city erupted into chaos and the barrier erected by the Tremere fell. He has not been seen since.
