Alabaster Figurine

Description

This is a simple carved figurine depicting a young elven woman. The artistry is simple, but the subject is lovingly depicted and was obviously someone close to the artist’s heart.

Backstory

This figurine was carved in the village of Wayfare by Roland. It was carved together with a twin (a depiction of the artist himself) from a single piece of alabaster over the course of a few months. Roland presented the twin figurine to his paramour, Lorelai and carried the one depicting her with him at all times. He has fastened it to a fine chain and wears it as amulet close to his heart.
