Strength level: Iain Bell possesses normal human strength for a man of his age and build who engages in regular exercise. As the Machinist, he has been seen to press at least 15 tons.

Known superhuman powers: While wearing the Haruspex, Iain Bell has access to a huge array of sophisticated alien weaponry, defensive systems, and massively heightened senses, while the “contact ports” and various upgrades made to his body and nervous system grant him unusually keen senses, quick reflexes, and broad multitasking abilities even out of costume.

Abilities: Iain Bell is a skilled political operative and public speaker with a keen strategic and analytical mind. He also plays piano at a professional concert level.

Limitations: While physically powerful, the Haruspex device grants only minimal mental shielding and consumes vast quantities of energy. When nullified or drained of energy the suit requires a costly and time-consuming recharge.

Weapons: As an advanced semi-sentient battle organism the Haruspex is capable of generating several customized weapons on-the-fly to meet and lethally counter new challenges, although Iain Bell tends to favor nonlethal stunning and disabling weapons. In his personal life he prefers to go unarmed.
