6’2” Tall Brazilian/African American all human. Her hair is long, about shoulder length. Her body is all muscle, and grace. Legs of a dancer, arms of a fighter, she’s usually rather physically intimidating until you start to talk to her.
Usually wearing a worn long coat and gui like clothing lose and easy to move in seems to be her theme. The calluses on her hands are very thick, she’s got a Sav, knows how to use it.. but it looks mint so far. Like it’s only been drawn to prove she can use it nothing more.
She does where goggles on her head normally, no glasses unless she uses contacts. Peak athletic ability, no cyberware visible at all. Looks like her body’s untouched the the techno world.
Adessa grew up in an odd family that sometimes would make her wonder if there should be a capital F at the beginning. However, there was never a crime boss. Never any crime, unless you count Remus’ loud ranting that would make a sailor blush. Only once did Adessa take that language to school. Remus, Dad, and Maestre couldn’t stop laughing. Mom, Marcee, and Sly thought differently.
After Adessa’s 21 she moved the heck out. The day after her hangover she gathered her stuff, called a few of her contacts and had a place to live within the weekend. Ok, so she had to call in a few favors from Krystal. It was worth it. Krystal gets to have her trainer in close to the headquarters too. Adessa’s last memorable conversation with her dad was him telling her she shouldn’t move out. She still remembers “don’t go Adessita, you’ll regret it”. Her final words, “you don’t get it do you dad. I’m not Adessita any more.. I’m a grown woman, I can make my own choices.”
Once Dad died Mom and Marcee moved out of the rada. There were many heated arguments from the rada those few weeks while dad was missing. Next thing Adessa knew there’s a funeral but no one got to see the body, Mom’s at home with the ashes and Remus rants on and on about what did they expect?
Adessa got through thanks to her old friend Radja. He sat by her for months just being her strength. No one else could really get out of their own space for such a long time. Whether he held her while she cried, or fought with her on the floor at the rada he was there. She spent plenty of nights on the floor at his shop curled up in a ball with just a cup of tea, or finally when her grieving hit it’s peak, he helped her with the rituals to officially say goodbye. Helping her gather the materials she needed.
Adessa’s been trying to move back home since her Dad died. She’s too far from family, from the rada, from her friends. Downtown’s to impersonal to her. She’s waiting out her lease, and Marcee’s trying to find her a place. Worse case scenario she’ll move back into the rada or maybe move in with Radja. He’s been trying to get her to do that anyway.
