Jed Clampett of Mars

Transplanted to Mars, a group of settlers discovers a lush planet inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians. Finding a planet in chaos in desperate need of a savior.

The characters will be part of a “space wagon train” to settle Mars and make their fortunes. The technology involved should be circa 1850 and somehow works anyway (nitroglycerine-powered engines, wooden ship hulls, solar sails, etc).

I am planning a somewhat funny adventure game for this. Kind of a mix of “Beverly Hillbillies”, “Bonanza”, and “Lost in Space”.
