Bio
Born and raised in the Akanul region but as an earthsoul born, resided in the city of Deepspur.

He has forced out the memories of his loss, of his family being torn away into the casm before his eyes, a blue magical flame in their wake. Taken in by fellow miners working the mines of deepspur, he was outcast as one of the ‘scarred ones’. As he came of age he ventured forth, vowing to learn of the magic that changed his life in the blink of an eye. He put himself to use in the local mages academy and after his chores were complete, he dedicated his time to the studies of arcana and history and the meaning of his ‘scar’ that made people treat him different. A wandering swordmage to the academy was to beguile Rok’alim with a dazzling display as a present for his 18th birthday. Not belonging to the academy and all but the most protected books read, he followed the swordmage as his apprentice for 3 years learning his ways… that was until his master was, once again in Rok’s life, snuffed from existance by the blue flame that haunts his life.
