The year is 2186. Its been one month since the Battle of the Citadel. The Systems Alliance has brought the Geth War to a clean-up stage, as patrols in the Terminus Systems sweep for remaining holdouts with few encounters. In reward for their service and sacrifice in saving the council, Donnel Udina has been made the first Human representative on the Citadel Council – the first new species since the Turians after the Krogan Rebellions. Humans have achieved in decades what some other races have not in centuries.

Now something has shocked the galaxy. Rumors are spreading Commander John Shepard – the first human Spectre, the hero of the Geth War, has died. The Alliance has kept their lips sealed tight on the matter, which is only giving them credence.

Shepard will leave a large hole in the galaxy – many still believe Sovereign was just another Geth Dreadnaught….but you know better. The Reapers are coming. Are you ready?
