It’s been a year since the double-murder of Lillian Fischer and Craig Lloyd.
Four men sit in prison. Three are on death row, and one is given life without parole.
The murders were of such a horrific nature that jurors had to be pulled from outside of Knoxville, all the way from Nashville.
And even with their convictions, the emotions still roil in this small, scruffy city. There are murmurs of hate crime, but no one is quite sure what hate was being played out.
There are family members not speaking to one another, due to arguments over funeral arrangements.
All in all, nothing’s been laid to rest.
