Half-brother to King Louis XIII, Henri de Bourbon (b. 1601) was legitimised in 1603. He was named Bishop of Metz in 1611, but has yet to actually visit his diocese. Henri is also abbot of Saint-Germain-des-Pres, the powerful Benedictine abbey in Paris.
