Bio
Charles (b. 1600) is the son of Henri de Schomberg. A soldier like his father, he gained the title of duc d’Halluin by marriage to Anne d’Halluin-Piennes in 1620. He presently serves as the regimental colonel of the French Guards, an extraordinarily prestigious command.
Charles is a competent commander and unlike many officers with court contacts, he is expected to rise on merit as well as patrimony.
