tilts wide brim hat down, carrikal at my hip The name is Sundor Basnor. I’m a simple Dray, who enjoys simple things. A good bar fight. A nice time with companions. A cool ale. The feel of a ceramic coin in my hand. nods once I’m a mercenary, and a damn good one, despite my polite demeanor. My father, a profitable merchant, sent me away to my uncle who was more than willing to teach me in the ways of fighting when I was just a boy. He taught me a number of ways of how to make a coin. He showed me and taught me many things, a lot of which I remember to this very day. He’s a good man, still doing his own mercenary work. When he finally had nothing left to teach me, and I had thrown him a beating or two,I left his company. Been on the caravan trails ever since, guarding and protecting those who are willing to pay the coin.I’m not one for mercy either and I know how harsh life can be. I live by three simple rules, just three so you won’t have to worry about remembering them. If you wrong a man, be prepared to defend your life. Always be prepared to do things you’re not proud of. And finally, my favorite rule…there ain’t no rest for the wicked. Not ever.
