Kamaritus’ only memory of childhood was the day when his parents were taken away. (Taken by followers of Rovagug). Details of what happened to his parents are a mystery which haunts him to this day still. He seeks to find what happened to them and to find out his ancestery.
When Kamaritus was but only 7 years old, an older priest of Saranae named Vashenil took Kamaritus in and showed him the ways of Saranae. Vashenil showed Kamaritus how to have patience and compassion by helping those in need. When Kamaritus turned 16, Vashenil was sent on a mission to put an end to a circle of followers that were destroying churches and temples. Vashenil followed these followers of Rovagug and attempted to redeem to lead follower Pomaritey. Kamaritus watched in the background as Vashenil pleaded with Pomaritey to stop these acts and redeem himself. After some time Pomaritey yielded to Vashenil and asked to be redeemed. In an act of betrayel, Pomaritey laughed as he killed Vashenil in front of Kamaritus. Kamaritus ran before Pomaritey could catch him and has been keeping an eye on his back since for Pomaritey.
Years later Kamaritus devoted himself to the Saranae as well and travels the roads, helping those in need, while also seeking answers to what happened to his parents.
