After the events of the Greyjoy Rebellion and the kidnapping of Mia Bael, Aemon Snow was determined to find his sister. Mia had always shown him kindness despite his bastardry and he wasn’t prepared to leave her to the mercies of the Ironborn. Aemon spent two years wandering Westeros and Braavos until he eventually retrieved Mia. Aemon returned to Blood Mountain in triumph and was finally accepted into the family by Lady Bael.
