Since as long as he can remember, Ölivir has been an orphan. His first memories are of his experiences in the orphanage. When he was about four years old, he was adopted by a middle class man and woman that were not able to have children on their own, a professional tennis player and a corporate worker. When his powers began to surface, he decided to ignore them and hide them for fear of not being able to lead a normal life. Ölivir decided to continue through school and begin college. The story begins during his Sophomore year in college. It turned out that Ölivir was the demigod son of Balder The Brave and a mortal woman. Ölivir discovered this after his salvation of Asgard with his other allies. He was offered a space in Asgard but turned it down to continue his life on Earth.
