Born to simple cloth washers in the city of Dyvers, Lo was stolen as a child by a guild to be trained in the ways of the mind and the hand. Upon graduation he was given leave to seek adventure and cultivate recruits. Lo is completley unaware that he was stolen and thinks that the guild adopted him as a child. He feels beholden to the clan and obeys thier orders without question.
He gained his appellation ‘Uncle Lo’ on a brief sojourn into the city for supplies when street urchins teasingly called him “Him Hung Low”, mocking his odd looking monk robes. Liking the sound of the name, but not realizing its implications – he returned to the monastery proudly bearing the title Lo.
