Slim build, 1.75m tall, 66kg. Pale white skin, brown hair, green eyes, well spoken, quiet tone

Wealthy, successful and highly respected corporate family. Both parents work for LSP

Not close to mother, father or brother. Little or no friction but from an early age found that what his parents wanted for him didn’t tally with what he wanted. Played the dutiful son. Stian had an excellent/expensive education but flunked out, preferring to hang out at the star port where he befriended the crew of a salvage ship at the age of 16 and on coming of age (18) and legally able to disregard his parents he joined its ranks.

Based in Glisten the small family owned company “Orion’s Belt”, found most of its work in system, recovering mining equipment and wrecked ships from the small belter community in the twin belts surrounding Gliss.

Stian worked hard in basic training and showed an early talent for zero g operations, his attention was further focused by the birth of his first (and thus far only) child, a boy named Stefan. Stian earnt promotion easily (motivated to provide for his family). His parents are disappointed in his choice of work. They hoped for him to take a role in business and continue the family success.

Progressed through second term with no major hitches, promoted twice as he performed well in the team, finally finding a place he could call home with the close knit crew of the ship become what felt to him how his natural family should feel.

With the time spent away from home on Glisten he became estranged from his partner and the marriage was dissolved as Stefan turned 6.

Realising that the family he’d adopted had played a part in the break down of his relationship he reacted by handing his resignation. Out of the frying pan, into the fire Stian moved careers with the help of his brother (who initially believed Stian was looking to move back to Glisten on a more permanent basis). Finding work as a Privateer in the corporate sector sub contracting to megacorporations. The work involved short term contracts and his team moving between star ships. The term was spent in training and deployment on active duty as part of a VBSS team.

Employed by DynCorp’s ISO (interstellar ship operations) division. Primarily sub contracting to LSP. Operating on ships between 100dt and 400dt. The remit includes ensuring the safe transit of LSP personnel and property between Glisten and Collace

4th term saw retraining and a move to the bridge, both in shipboard comms and gunnery. Promoted again, this term was easier on the nerves with less direct action.

The 5th term saw a move back into VBSS active duty during the first year and in a hard fought series of skirmishes with the rival company XXX Stian saw active duty as a turret gunner in a series of back to back contracts lasting 15 months.

Keen to see his son, Stian has agreed a break of 3 months with his employer. He now finds himself on Dallia looking for transport to Windsor (Glisten SS 1935) where his son lives with his mother.
