Zos was born into a wealthy, upper middle class family of merchants on Flexos. Intelligent and ambitious, Zos was interested in politics from an early age and set his sites on becoming CEO of the Flexos – not caring how he did it or who he screwed over in the process.

His ambition and determination to get ahead got him into a lot of trouble in his early-twenties as he resorted to some very underhand tactics in order to try and disgrace rivals – some of which backfired on him and it was only his father’s influence that kept him out of jail.

For the remainder of his twenties, Zos worked diligently and kept a slightly lower profile, creating a network of allies and contacts in order to get the support that he needed in order to achieve high office.

By the time he was in his thirties, the scandals of his younger days had slipped out of most citizen’s memories and he achieved the upper echelons of power. Eventually, at the age of 38, in 1095, he achieved his desired goal of becoming CEO.

Over the past 12 years, Zos has proven to be a highly competent and popular leader and has brought a great deal of prosperity to the planet and an increasing importance for the world in subsector politics. Because of this, the majority of the world’s citizens have turned a blind eye to the changes that Zos made to Flexos’s constitution. Zos should only have served two four year terms as CEO, but he changed the constitution in such a way that there is a good chance that he will be a benevolent dictator for life.

Although Zos has amassed a vast fortune from his career in politics, all of the citizens have benefited during his rule to such an extent that no one seems to mind so much. Although he ensures that the elections are rigged so that he always appears to have 95% of the public vote, even if he held legitimate elections, he would still receive 80% public support.

There is a some parts of the population that would like to see change but, with Zos and his supporters controlling all of Flexos’s media, their voice is rarely heard.
