Bio

I was found on the steps of the Lantern Street Orphanage. Since there were only a few Dwarfs in the City of Cauldrin the officals at the Orphanage felt they would easily locate my parent quickly. However, after searching for days it became apparent that no one or even a Dwarven clan was going to claim me. So I grew up in the Orphanage. Being one of the few Dwarfs in the Orphanage I was picked on constantly by the mostly human population. Because of this I learned to defend myself quickly. I also learned that it was better to intimidate others first and avoid having to fight altogether if possible.

The only difference between the other inhabitants of the orphanage and myself is that I age much more slowly. Thus I found myself living in the orphanage for a longer period of time then the humans. This was ok with me but as I grew older the people running the orphanage decided I needed to learn a skill to help pay for my food and board. Given that I was a Dwarf they decided to have me apprentice with the local smithy. So one day I found myself living at the Smither and learning to make armor and weapons in the Gurnezar's smithy. Gurnezar was a master at creating armor and weapons.  I learned a lot from him as I worked. And it turned out I truly enjoyed working in the smithy. As as I learned the skill I also noticed that the strength in my arms and legs were increasing.  I have been working for Gurnezar for ten years. This is a long time for a person to apprentice. However during that time I have come to know Gurnezar.  He is a quiet man who allows his work to speak for itself. I have learned much from him and have started to work towards making my masterwork that will let me move to become a journeyman smithy. In addition to me there are five other apprentices working here. I tend to just ignore them and focus on the work Gurnezar gives to me to complete.

Another reason I enjoy working at Gurnezar is meeting all of the adventurers as they pass through Cauldron. It was during one these meetings that I met my fighting mentor, Thar Magellas. It was because of Thar that I learned to speak Dwarvish and learned the skills I need to fight with a Dwarvish weapon.

I also had the opportunity to meet a kid name Gerran. He was a friend of one of Gurnezar's sons.  He and the son would get into trouble for breaking into my employer's safe but I will say Gerran was adapt at getting into trouble as well as for getting out of it.

Recently I learned that the leader of the Stoneshield clan was interested in seeing my masterwork item once it is completed. Unfortunately it will take 1000g. And I must find and smelt the ore myself along with including a personal item. Once this item is done I will need to either work on my own or get a patron.  I believe Stoneshield wants to be my patron.
