August 1st - Special Flashback Adventure
After some time in Sigil, after finding pure light and a djinni in a bottle, the party decides that enough time has passed and to return to the prime world. The cross-plane teleportation circle leads from the upstairs of the brothel to the Chamber of Eyes in Thunderspire. Ebbek is there and asks for an update. While you may or may not choose to share everything with him, there is some mention of a few things that he takes notice of.
He implores everyone that before you go on to the next mission to listen to a story he has to tell. A story of earlier on in his career at the Inquisition. The story of how he led a team to investigate rumors of a mad wizard named Acererak. The story of how he and several others would come to know the original… TOMB OF HORRORS.
For this game, I need 5-6 players who will be playing different characters. One person needs to play Ebbek, a 9th level human battle (melee) cleric. One person needs to play Vocar, a 9th level human invoker. The other people who play can play 8th level characters of their choosing, provided they would fit on an Inquisition expedition.

I’m going to try and clear off my obligation in the evening to give time to try and get as far into the module as possible (or have a TPK.) Also Tomb of Horrors is a notorious killer adventure, so you may be sitting out if your character is killed.
That’s it- will try to set players as soon as possible to allow time for people to make their characters. Ask if you have any questions.
I can play a polearm fighter or an illusionist.
We need someone to play the Leader (Ebbek) and Controller (Vocar).
That means the other slots ought to be (strikers x2), (defender x1), and (WILD CARD).
Can play. Wouldn’t mind playing Ebbek. 9th level human melee cleric eh? That should be doable.

Strong warning that this is the ur-dungeon for traps, tricks, and puzzles. Some combat- the original had a preface that “if your group is a hack and slay gathering, they will not be happy!” This means be ready for serious old school dungeon crawling, and I highly recommend getting someone with Thievery.
Who else besides Warlocks and Rogues have thievery? We’ll want a dex based character to have that skill, so some DEX character could always take it with multi-class.
Standard magic item allotment?
Yep, a +1, equal, -1 item, and cash equal to level -1 item. (The two plot characters will have better equipment.)
