Fei Xiang was raised in a shaolin temple, in the Himalayan alps. While not a devout Buddhist, he does follow the philosophical tenets of the temple. He has recently left the temple, as he felt called in his journey to enlightenment to another location, though where that is, he is still uncertain. He simply knows that he must travel as fate decides.
