Lord Aaron Von Schmidt is a wealthy aristorcrat living in the College District of Zobeck. He is one of the city’s most influential public figures and his wealth is seemingly limitless. Apart from inherited wealth, he also has several business interests throughout the city and is a member of several guilds but what he is best known for is his sponsorship of literature, music and the arts.

He is not married and is usually always accompanied by one or two of his Personal Assistants, a young man named Eric Estrada or a young Elf-Marked woman named Coletta Steyn. He does not partake much in town council or political affairs, but nonetheless his influence is said to be considerable even in these matters for he is often consulted by some of he town’s most prominent leaders.

He is usually dressed in the finest materials of exotic clothing, simple but ornate and expensive jewels and is almost never seen in armour of any kind. He is an expert lute player and will sometimes join in with bards and minstrels at auspicious events. He is known to be a practicing bard and thus has knowledge of Arcane Magic.

It is rumoured that he has his own private library in the dungeons of his mansion and it is widely believed that he consults regularly with sages from all over the world.
