Finn is the proverbial “leaf on the wind”; roaming from place to place, guided by fate and fortune. He is a fun-loving, easy going free spirit who gives as easily as he takes. He loves trading stories, trying new foods, and meeting new people. New experiences are generally hard to avoid. He’s also a pathological liar with virtually no concept of personal property.
Finn finds himself in Fallcrest after traveling with a band of gypsies along the King’s Road from Harkenwold. He found their clothing and music interesting, and so decided to follow along with them for a little while. The was also the matter of having given a very precious and surprisingly fragile religious artifact to a child to play with as a toy. Unfortunately his escape route through the bedroom of a couple engaged in amorous activities did nothing to alleviate his misfortunes. The ensuing clamor got the attention of a merchant, who had posted a bounty on Finn for walking off with an emerald ring. The fact that said ring had been collected as a donation to the very same church whose thurible was now fulfilling it’s higher calling as a baby rattle, was lost on all of them.
