Ghorfal the Voracious is the clan master of the Bloody Chain clan. He commands a ruthless band of neogi slavers as well as their mercenaries: drow, cyclopses, and demons. His forces began a campaign of terror in the Kragholme in HR 131, centered on the town of Elmhollow.

The party launched a nighttime assault on Ghorfal’s forest camp, slaying his neogi servants and the drow mercenary detachment. Ghorfal himself was held in an extraplanar prison by Karthas’ dismissal spell, which allowed the adventurers to decimate his warriors, then slay him undefended. It was discovered that Ghorfal had begun the metamorphosis into a great old master, becoming engorged with neogi larvae. By eliminating him it would seem that the Bloody Chain clan has ended.
