Backstory

This is the Sky-Metal Disc that the old Native-American, John Stonehill told you about, and asked you to retreive from the mine. The large metal disc is covered in runes that are unknown to you, there are four oddly-shaped finger holes in the center. It can be used in melee like a knife or thrown with suprising accuracy.

According to the tribal legend the Sky-Metal Disc was granted to the tribe by the Sky-Father himself in answer to their prayers well over a hundred years ago. The disc was able to weaken the Darkness. After the Beast appeared the warriors of the tribe used the Sky-Metal Disc to fight the Beast, and badly wound it. The Beast retreated and a brave was selected to carry the disc and hunt the Beast. Neither the brave nor the disc were ever seen agian.
